Pclix LT Camera Control Cables

The two charts below lists all the current camera models which are supported by the Pclix LT. The first chart lists all cameras which can be triggered using infrared light. All infrared triggered camera require our C-100 camera control cable which is described below. This cable allows you to position the Pclix LT anywhere within 1 meter of your camera. The second chart lists all cameras which can be directly connected to the Pclix LT using a camera control cable. Below the chart you will find more detailed information about each cable. A few thoughts. If your camera can only be triggered using infrared light then our C-100 cable should be used. On the other hand if your camera has a remote connection which is intended to allow the camera to be triggered using a wired remote then choose the cable below which matches your camera model. Some cameras have both an infrared receiver and a remote connection. In this case it's preferable to use the directly connected camera control cable as opposed to Infrared triggering.

C-80 - Nikon D70s & D80 Cable

This cable will allow you to connect the Pclix LT directly to either the Nikon D70s or D80 camera body. NOTE: This cable is not compatable with the new Nikon D90, the Nikon D70, D60, D50 or D40. This cable is 30" (0.75m) in length. If required custom lengths can be ordered.

C-90 - Nikon D90 & D5000

This cable will allow you to connect the Pclix LT directly to the Nikon D90 camera body. NOTE: This cable is to be used with the D90 or D5000. Our C-90 cable is slightly more expensive than our other cables due to the cost of materials. Sorry about that. The length of the cable is approx 30" (0.75m) in length.

C-100 - Single Infrared Cable

This cable is highly recomended for any camera being triggered using infrared light. It allows you to put the Pclix behind or below your camera and not directly in front as would be the case if the cable is not used. One end of cable plugs into the Pclix LT the other sits overtop of the infrared receive on your camera. The length of this cable is 39" (1m). Need a longer one? Custom lengths are possible.

C-200 - Double Infrared Cable

A few of our clients require the ability to trigger two cameras at the same time using one Pclix LT. This cable will allow you to do just that. Like the cable above it plugs into the Plcix LT and each leg of the cable is 39" (1m) in length. If you require longer cables or more than two legs please contact us and we will custom build to your specs.

C-300 - Canon Rebel Cable

This cable can be used to connect the Pclix LT directly to any Canon camera in the Rebel series plus the Canon G10. The 1000D, 550D, 500D, 450D, 400D, 300D, 350D, G10, G11, Digital Rebel, Digital Rebel XT, XTi, XSi, XS, XSi, T1i, T2i, Kiss Digital, Kiss Digital-N are all compatable. The cable length is 5 feet (1.4m). Do you requried a longer length? Please contact us if you do.

C-320 - Canon N-3 Cable

This cable is used for Canon cameras which make use of the N-3 remote connection on the camera. The following camera models are compatible with this cable, 1D, 1Ds, 1D Mark II, 7D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, Canon 60D and D2000. The cable length is 30" (0.75m). Longer cables can be custom made. NOTE: This cable is NOT compatible with the Canon 5D nor 5D MKII camera model.

C-350 - Canon N-3 Cable

This cable is used for the 5D and 5D MKII Canon cameras which also shares the N-3 remote connector. While this cable is specifically for the 7D, 5D and 5D-MKII it is also compatible with all the cameras listed above using the C-320 Canon cable. The quality of the connector on this cable is superior to the C-320 hence the higher cost. The cable length is 30" (0.75m). Longer cables can be custom made.

C-400 - Nikon 10 Pin Cable

This cable will allow you to connect the Pclix LT directly to any of the following cameras having the 10 pin remote connection. Nikon D1, D1X, D1H, D2, D2X, D2H, D200, D300, D700, F5, F100, F90, F90X, N90 or the D100 if it has the vertical grip installed. Also this cable supports the Kodak DCS 14-N, Fuji S3 Pro, Fuji S5 Pro. This cable is 30" (0.75m) in length. If required custom lengths can be ordered.

C-500 - Panasonic Cable

This cable will allow you to connect the Pclix LT directly to any of the following cameras having a 4 contact 2.5mm connector. Panasonic G1, GH1, GF1, DMC FZ-15, DMC FZ-20, DMC FZ-25, DMC FZ-30, DMC FZ-50, DMC LC-1. This cable is 30" (0.75m) in length. If required custom lengths can be ordered.

C-530 - Olympus (USB) Cable

This cable uses three of the extra pins on the camera's USB connection and will allow you to connect the Pclix LT directly to any of the following Olympus camera, E-P1, E-P2, E30, E400, E410, E420, E510, E520, SP-510UZ, SP-550UZ, SP-560UZ, SP-SP-565UZ, SP-570-UZ, SP-590UZ . This cable is 30" (0.75m) in length. If required custom lengths can be ordered.
NOTE: The C-530 cable is not compatible with the E-500 model. For the E-500 you must use the C-100 infrared cable above.

C-540 - Olympus Cable

This cable plugs into the camera's 3 pin remote connector on one end and the Pclix LT on the other. It is fully compatible with tthe following Olympus camera models E-1, E-3, E-10, E-20, E-300. This cable is 30" (0.75m) in length. If required custom lengths can be ordered.
NOTE: The C-540 cable is NOT compatible with the E-500 model. For the E-500 you must use the C-100 infrared cable above.

C-700 - Sony / Minolta Cable

This cable will allow you to connect the Pclix LT to any of the following cameras. Sony Alpha DLSR A100, A200, A300, A350, A700, A900 or Minolta models Minolta Dynax 7D & 5D. This cable is 30" (0.75m) in length.

C-950 - Contact Switch Closure Cable - Open Ended

This cable can be used to connect the Pclix LT directly to any device which can be triggered by a contact switch closure. In this case the Pclix LT100 can trigger devices other than cameras which require timed interval triggers.
